An excessive amount of ribbons for one ride, but I’m not complaining! Hans was a star, winning the USDF Musical Freestyle Challenge at Dressage at Lexington this weekend with a 75.6% (Fourth Level). He also earned High Score MFS of the day, and Overall High Score MFS of the show. We had very limited practice time (I finished editing my music Tuesday, and we left for the show Thursday! 🙈) and despite some nervousness about the atmosphere in the coliseum, he came through for me. The most amazing boy. 🖤 Thank you to my sponsor @customsaddlery for allowing us to perform at our best, fitted by the wonderful @ridetimesboutique .

Thank you VADA/NOVA, for the beautiful jacket and ribbon for year-end awards! Hans was Third Level Open Champion with an average of 71.594%.

Congratulations to my students who also won awards: Jessie Ginsburg with Vodermus was Champion Intermediate-1 Adult Amateur, and Carol Thomas with Gentle and First Freda was Champion and Reserve Champion Second Level Amateur, and Reserve Champion and 5th in Musical Freestyle Adult Amateur.
